D6 Small Business is made up of business owners working together to improve the economic, civic, and cultural well-being of San Diego’s City District 6 neighborhoods and communities.

The initials “D6” symbolize the more than 152,000 people living in the neighborhoods of Kearny Mesa, Miramar, Mira Mesa, Rancho Encantada, Scripps Ranch, Sorrento Valley and University City. D6 is physically fragmented by natural canyons and internally partitioned by man-made freeways and a large military base. D6 is geographically in the “Heart of San Diego.”
